API changelog
Changes to the API contract only. A claim being superseded or withdrawn is a scientific state change and belongs in /api/changes.json, not here — the endpoint behaves identically either way.
2026-09-10 — 2026-09-10
First published API contract. Not breaking.
- Added the scientific family: /api/claims.json, /api/changes.json, /feed.xml.
- Added the reference family: /api/index.json, /api/ontology.json, /api/policy.json, /api/status.json, /api/deferred.json, /api/errors.json, /api/schema/{name}.schema.json and /developers/openapi.json.
- Added the demonstration family under /api/demo and /demo, segregated by path and by classification.
- Added the integrity family: /build-manifest.txt, /sitemap.xml, /robots.txt, /llms.txt.
- Published response-envelope schemas and began validating every emitted document against its schema during the build, so the published schemas are enforced contracts rather than documentation.
- Fixed the error taxonomy before any dynamic endpoint exists, so its shape cannot be invented differently later.
- Stated the permanence guarantee: version URLs never change content; current pointers may change meaning and must not be cited.

A claim being published, superseded, withdrawn, replicated or falsified is not an API change. Those are at what changed, /api/changes.json and the Atom feed.
